Author Guidelines

General Provisions

JEBDEKER Journal (Jurnal Ekonomi, Manajemen, Akuntansi, Bisnis Digital, Ekonomi Kreatif, Entrepreneur) publishes articles resulting from scientific research, both conceptual and empirical, in the fields of economics and business, including Economics, Digital Business, Creative Economy, Entrepreneurship, Management, and Accounting.

Manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal’s official website in accordance with the applicable journal management system. The submitted manuscripts must be original works, not previously published, and not under evaluation by another journal.

Articles should be written using Microsoft Word, A4 paper size, single spacing (1), Times New Roman 12 pt font, one-column format, and must follow the JEBDEKER template provided (downloadable from the journal website).

Authors are required to read the OJS-Author Guidebook to understand the procedures for manuscript submission, including the upload process, submission steps, revisions, and article updates throughout the review and publication stages.

Writing Structure  

• Beginning Section: Title, author name, affiliation, article history, abstract, and keywords. 
• Main Section: Introduction, methods, results and discussion, and conclusion.  
• Final section: References.

Title and Author Identity

The title of the article is written in Times New Roman (TNR) size 13 pt, in bold, with a maximum word count of 14 words. The author's name is written without academic titles using TNR 11 pt bold. The author's affiliation must include the study program, institution, and city. All authors' email addresses must be included.

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract is written in Indonesian using Times New Roman 11 pt, single spaced, and presented in one paragraph. The length of the abstract is between 175-250 words and includes the research objectives, research methods, and research results. 

Keywords consist of 3-6 important, specific, and representative words or phrases related to the article's content.

Introduction

The Introduction section is written using Times New Roman 11 pt regular with single spacing. Each paragraph starts with an indentation of 1 cm from the left margin. The font used in tables is size 10 pt with single spacing. The table title is placed centered at the top of the table, or captions for images are noted at the bottom. The introduction includes background on the problem, the urgency of the research, research objectives, and contributions of the research.

Theory

The theory section contains a brief review of relevant literature or previous research to justify the novelty of the research. The sources used must be current, relevant, and from primary literature, with a review that is not overly extensive. The theories used should come from scientific journal articles or books published within the last 5 years, and all citations must follow the applicable citation guidelines.

Research Methods

The Research Methods section is written using Times New Roman 11 pt regular with single spacing, and each paragraph starts with an indentation of 1 cm. The research methods section should clearly and systematically present the type of research, research subjects or objects, data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques.

Results and Discussion

Each table and figure must be referenced in the text, and vice versa, with the provision that references cannot use the terms "above" or "below," such as in the sentences "According to Figure 1 above…” or "as presented in Table 3 below…". Tables are presented without vertical lines, using a single spacing format and font size 10 pt. The proportion of the Results and Discussion section should be 40-60% of the total length of the article, and discussions must relate to relevant theories and previous research.

Conclusion

The conclusion should be written concisely, clearly, and directly, only addressing the goals or hypotheses of the research, and should be crafted critically, logically, honestly, and based on research facts. Rehashing research results is not permitted in the conclusion. The conclusion should be written in paragraph form, not in bullet points or numbering. The author must mention the limitations of the research that underpin research recommendations, and research suggestions should be written in one paragraph after the conclusion paragraph, still within the same sub-chapter.

References

The references must be compiled in a standard and consistent manner using APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition style. Authors are encouraged to use reference management applications like Mendeley or EndNote to maintain citation consistency. Authors should use single spacing with a single space between references. Authors are required to include at least one (1) reference from an article that has been published in the JEBDEKER Journal. Ensure that all references cited in the manuscript text are listed.
