Publication Ethics
Jurnal Ekonomi, Manajemen, Akuntansi, Bisnis Digital, Ekonomi Kreatif, Entrepreneur (JEBDEKER) is fully committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in scholarly publishing. This Publication Ethics Policy is based on the guidelines and Core Practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
We aim to prevent all forms of publication malpractice. This policy outlines the ethical roles and responsibilities of all involved parties: Editors, Reviewers, and Authors.
EDITOR TASK
Publication Decision
Fully responsible for deciding which articles will be published, in consultation with Peer Reviewers, and complying with legal requirements.
Fair Play Evaluate manuscripts based on scientific content without discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, nationality, or the author's political philosophy.
Confidentiality
Do not disclose any information about the submitted manuscript, and do not use unpublished material for personal research without the author's permission.
Manuscript Integrity
Ensure an impartial peer review process and make decisions based on validity, scientific interest, clarity, and relevance of the manuscript to the journal’s focus and scope.
Corrective ActionsCommunicate corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies if substantial errors or ethical violations are found. REVIEWER TASK
Objectivity & Qualification Conduct reviews objectively, promptly, and constructively. Personal criticism is not permitted. If unable to meet qualifications or perform a quick review, must withdraw.
Confidentiality
Treat manuscripts as confidential documents. Do not disseminate review results, advice, or recommendations to others.
Source Acknowledgment
Identify relevant published work that has not been cited and inform the Editor if there is substantial similarity (plagiarism) or overlap.
Conflict of Interest
Must not consider manuscripts with conflicts of interest (competition, collaboration, or other relationships) with the author, company, or related institution. AUTHOR TASK
Originality & Authenticity Ensure the submitted work is entirely original, has not been published anywhere, and is not under consideration elsewhere.
Accurate Reporting
Present research/service results honestly and accurately. Data used must be accessible upon request.
AuthorshipAuthorship is limited to those who contribute significantly. Corresponding authors are responsible for ensuring all co-authors approve the final version of the manuscript.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Declare the source of resources (including funding) and disclose any financial or other substantial conflicts of interest.
Collective Responsibility
Take collective responsibility for the work and content of the article, including methods, analysis, calculations, and details.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
JEBDEKER Journal has procedures for handling suspected publication malpractice:Investigation ProcedureAny suspected ethical violations (plagiarism, data falsification, duplicate publication, etc.) will thoroughly investigated according to the flowchart established by COPE.
Retraction and Correction
If substantial errors or serious ethical violations are found after publication, the journal will issue an official Correction or Retraction, and the information will be clearly stated on the journal page.
